Bees are seasonal invaders that we presume are all "Aficanized" by now in southern Arizona.  These bees are not agressive, but very defensice if they have a hive established to protect.  Swarms "ball of bees hanging out on tree limb" for example are generaly harmless if left alone.  These swarms will usually leave within a day or two and no service is required if you can have a little patience.  These bees have no "hive" to protect so a threat from them is minimal if left alone.  They are "resting" while scouts are out looking for a new suitable place to start a new home.

If you discover bees flying in and out of a hole that leads to a void or cavity where a hive may be present like: under sheds, under stucco at foundation or eaves, block wall voids, irrigation boxes, tree hollows, etc, DO NOT BOTHER THEM!  These bees will be very defensive and protect their home with amazing speed and efficiency.  Call Gecko and we can eliminate the bees and the hive safely.
