Birds and particularly pigeons carry parasites and infectious disease.  If you find yourself with pigeons beginning to use your home as a nesting and roosting area, don't let it get carried away.  While one or two may not bother you, more will soon follow and the result is a toxic heap of fecal material that your family and pets will be exposed to.  Gecko has developed a set of protocols to eliminate, sanitize and exclude.

Step 1. Trap and remove birds first week.  This step is most important.  If the birds are not first removed, then any exclusion service performed is set up for failure.  Pigeons are relentless in their attempts to regain access to areas they were previously excluded from.

Step 2.  Remove nesting debris and "sanitize" areas with a bactericide.  This step is to protect family and pets from exposure to toxic airborne disease.  Pigeon poo is no joke.  People have died from exposure to it.

Step 3.  Now that the pigeons are removed and the areas are sanitized, we can now set up an exclusion program to prevent other pigeons from coming back to these areas.
